When do I pay the Fee?
The programme fee is to be paid in full by 31st October.
Late payments will not be accepted.
The programme fee is €1,150.
It is the responsibility of the student or prospective student to ensure that the entire programme fee is paid by the deadline.
How to pay the programme fee?
Payments may be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (bank details available on request), or by online card payment.
Payments made by postal order, cheque or bank draft will not be accepted.
Students associated with the Certificate in Dental Radiography Programme pay the programme fee in one instalment.
Third-party payments/on behalf of student:
It is the policy of the Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) that all matters relating to fee payments will only be discussed with the student directly and not a third party.
Any arrangement made by a student and a third party in relation to payment of programme fee is a matter for the student and the third party only.
It is advisable that if an arrangement has been made with a third party that the student issues a copy of this Payment of Fees and Refunds document to the third party.
What happens if I do not pay my fees?
Students who do not pay any part of the programme fee by the above deadline above may have their offer withdrawn and will be removed from the programme.
Students who have outstanding fees to be paid following the deadline date issued will be notified by email and/or phone calls.
It is the student’s responsibility to check their email mailbox regularly. Failure to receive or access emails will not be considered, should there be query about a non-payment. Publication of a student’s examination results may be withheld if there are any outstanding fees for the student.
Refund of Fee:
Once a student commences the course, the programme fee will not be refunded.
Students may request a refund of fee paid on withdrawal from the programme.
Students are required to notify the Dental Nurse Tutor in writing of their intention to withdraw from the programme including the reason for withdrawal.
Should a student withdraws prior to the commencement of the programme, has paid the full programme fee -– the student may apply for a full refund of fee paid less the non-refundable administration fee of €40.
N.B. If a Student withdraws from the programme after commencement of the programme, they will be liable for payment of the full programme fee.
The Dublin Dental University Hospital accepts no obligation to refund any fee, or any part of any fee, paid in respect of the programme.
Each application for a refund of programme fee will be assessed on an individual basis.
Receipts:
Receipts will be issued to students following acceptance onto the programme and should be kept safe as a record of the payment made. Receipts will not be duplicated or re-issued.
