When do I pay my Fees?
Successful applicants will be offered a place on the programme, and will then be required to submit tuition fees to hold their place on the programme. These must be paid prior to commencement of the programme. The Tuition fees are not to be paid before applicants receive an offer of a place on the programme and are instructed to pay the fees.
Students associated with the Dublin centre of the National Dental Nurse Training Programme of Ireland (NDNTP) may avail of the option to pay the programme fee in one or two instalments only.
The programme fee for is €2,500.
A minimum of a half of the programme fee, €1,250 is to be paid on or before mid-June. This is to secure the student’s place in the programme.
A second instalment of €1,250 must be paid by mid-August.
All programme fees are to be paid in full by mid-August.
It is the responsibility of the student or prospective student to ensure that all programme fees are paid by the deadline.
How to pay the NDNTP programme fees:
Payments may be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (bank details available on request), or by online card payment.
Payments made by postal order, cheque or bank draft will not be accepted.
Third-party payments on behalf of the student:
It is the policy of the Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) that all matters relating to fee payments will only be discussed with the student directly and not a third party (see Practitioner’s Guide).
Any arrangement made by a student and a third party in relation to payment of the programme fees is a matter for the student and the third party only.
It is advisable that if an arrangement has been made with a third party that the student issues a copy of this Payment of Fees and Refunds Policy document to the third party.
Once a student commences a term of the programme, there will be no refund of the programme fee associated with that term.
What happens if I do not pay my fees?
Students who do not pay any part of the programme fee by the above deadline above may have their offer withdrawn and will be removed from the programme.
Students who have outstanding fees to be paid following the deadline date issued will be notified by email and/or phone calls.
It is the student’s responsibility to check their email mailbox regularly. Failure to receive or access emails will not be considered, should there be query about a non-payment or a notice of a late payment fee. Publication of a student’s examination results may be withheld if there are any outstanding fees for the student.
Late Payment Charges & Fees
Payments received after the deadline date set in mid-August and before mid-September will be subject to a late payment charge of €200.
Students who have outstanding fees at the end of September may be permitted to sit Written Examination Paper 1 in early December, however results of the examination will be withheld until all outstanding payments are made.
If the final instalment of €1,250 is not paid mid-September, an additional late payment charge of €75 will be applied giving a total late payment charge of €275 that must be paid together with the balance of fees due.
Failure to pay all programme fees and late payment charges by the end of November may result in the removal of the student from the programme.
The above dates may be subject to change.
