Hamna Maheen, a Final Year dental student was recently awarded the Leo Heslin Memorial Medal.

Another hugely successful Mouth Cancer Awareness Day took place in the DDUH on Wednesday 20th Septemeber.

The Dublin Dental University would like to welcome our students who commenced their Postgraduate Doctorate in Dental Surgery programme this week.  We hope they will enjoy their learning experience with us over the next 3 years.

A very successful evening of lectures was organised by Dr Esther O’Regan and  Dr. Denise MacCarthy hosted by the DDUH on Wednesday 28 June 2017 in the Large Lecture Theatre, Dublin Dental University Hospital.  The evening was chaired by Professor Leo Stassen, Professor / Chair Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Trinity College Dublin.    The CEO of the Dublin Dental University Hospital, Mr David Barry, was in attendance to welcome this important group of colleagues to the School.  There were 70 attendees from a wide range of health care units around the city and also staff and students from Trinity College.

The National Cancer Strategy 2017-2026 was launched on 05 July 2017.  This is the third National Cancer Strategy.

The Dublin Dental University would like to welcome our students who commenced their Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation course today.  We hope they will enjoy learning in the Dental Hospital over the next 18 months.

The Dental School and Dublin Dental University Hospital held our annual finals evening on 21st June 2017 for our graduating Dental Science and Dental Technology Class of 2017. We welcomed both students and their parents to our event which celebrated all the wonderful achievements of our final year students.

Congratulations to the graduates of Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry who received their Awards from The Registrar of The University of Dublin on Monday 19th June 2017.

Congratulations to Ms Karen Dinneen, Dental Nurse Tutor who was awarded a Masters in Education (Higher Education) in Trinity College Dublin in April.
